About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively support and manage existing customers and sales partners in the assigned market
- Identify and develop new customer and business opportunities through targeted market research and customer contact
- Prepare quotations, sales presentations and customer-specific proposals in cooperation with internal departments
- Process customer enquiries and follow up quotations, projects and sales opportunities
- Maintain customer, project and sales data in the CRM system and ensure information remains up to date
- Monitor market developments, competitors and customer needs to identify growth potential
- Support preparation and implementation of sales activities, customer meetings, trade fairs and presentations
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and continuously improving internal sales processes
- Support customers and the sales team throughout the entire sales process
- Build strong customer relationships and contribute to development of the lighting solutions business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial, maritime or technical training / study, ideally with experience in sales, customer service or a technical industry
- First professional experience in maritime business
- Strong customer focus and enthusiasm for building long-term business relationships
- Confident communication skills and a structured, independent and responsible approach to work
- Interest in technical products, lighting solutions and sustainable technologies
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage several enquiries and projects at the same time
- Experience with CRM systems and common Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade fairs and other sales activities
