About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships within the sales territory
  • Acquire new customers and projects in the field of professional lighting solutions
  • Advise electrical contractors, electrical wholesalers, planning offices, lighting designers, and end customers
  • Develop and present customized lighting solutions and lighting management systems
  • Track projects from the initial inquiry through to successful completion
  • Conduct sales and contract negotiations
  • Work closely with inside sales, lighting design, and technical support teams
  • Maintain customer, project, and quotation data in the CRM system
  • Take responsibility for achieving agreed revenue and growth targets within the sales territory
  • Take over and gradually develop an established sales territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training or degree in electrical engineering, lighting technology, or a comparable field
  • In-depth knowledge of LED technology
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting control and lighting management systems, such as DALI
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting design and lighting concepts
  • Several years of sales experience in technical field sales
  • Ideally, an established network of electrical contractors, electrical wholesalers, lighting designers and planning offices, architects, and specialist consultants
  • Excellent communication skills, strong negotiating abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Structured and independent way of working from a home office
  • Willingness to travel within the sales territory
