About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Document existing capabilities and business requirements
- Implement new and improved digital infrastructure in line with agreed designs, standards and protocols
- Take ownership of third-line incidents through to resolution
- Coordinate with external suppliers to resolve incidents
- Identify recurring issues, establish root causes and workarounds, and deliver or support permanent fixes
- Raise, plan, implement and review changes
- Work with project, technology and on-site installation teams on end-to-end deployments
- Provide technical expertise to first-line teams during live incidents and deployments
- Maintain clear, useful service-delivery documentation
- Take technical responsibility for planned installations and operational activities
- Perform regular overnight work
- Support digital infrastructure across the UK and Ireland, including London’s TfL travel network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), IIS or Apache
- Confidence using remote management tools, networking technologies and scripting tools such as PowerShell
- Experience implementing technical solutions
- Experience integrating off-the-shelf products
- Experience supporting small to medium-sized technical projects
- Experience working with an IT service management tool
- Experience working within an ITIL-aligned environment, including incident, problem and change management
- Experience supporting digital advertising, digital signage or a comparable content management platform in a live environment
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues, suppliers and customer-facing teams
- Ability to prioritise work according to impact and risk
- Proactive approach to developing technical, industry-specific and safety knowledge
- Regular overnight work availability
- ITIL Foundation, relevant Microsoft certifications and a Level 3 IT qualification or equivalent are beneficial
