About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate data-driven insights into actionable items for internal and external stakeholders
Conduct high-level data requirements reviews, data analysis, and data visualization
Monitor performance against benchmarks and generate insights across issuers and schemes
Identify trends across issuers, schemes, platforms, and merchant configurations
Drive improvements in authorization, authentication, and routing efficiency
Convert analytical findings into scalable solutions delivering approval-rate, revenue-protection, and cost-reduction improvements
Identify recurring issues and partner with issuers on systemic resolution
Support intake, requirement gathering, and prioritization of optimization opportunities
Allocate and coordinate team work
Manage and track an initiative pipeline, documenting progress, recommendations, and outcomes
Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Data, Schemes, and Issuers
Triage and escalate recurring or complex issues
Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience within Payments
2+ years of relevant experience
Broad knowledge of Worldpay products and related services
Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, and SQL
Basic knowledge of IT technologies including operating systems, network devices, software development, and architecture
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Problem-solving, time management, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Deep understanding of the payments industry and authorization pathways
Experience with authorization investigation and resolution
Strong analytical skills for complex investigations
Some flexibility of hours required
Strong existing connections within the Worldpay business is a bonus
Knowledge and experience with WPG, VAP, NAP, and differing merchant profiles is a bonus
