About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Code, test, and analyze application software
Support the Product Operating Model by working closely with the product team
Build responsive web applications that conform to multiple screen sizes and devices
Collaborate with Development and QA team members to implement product requirements and improve usability
Follow the Product Development lifecycle, coding standards, and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments
Drive monthly production releases during off-hours
Automate processes and write maintainable, supportable, and testable code
Use visual aids such as wireframes, storyboards, and UI flow charts to plan and present interface designs
Conduct usability testing and gather real-world intelligence from target users
Develop website and product aesthetics, including layouts, menus, colors, and fonts
Keep current with UI/UX design and human-computer interaction trends and best practices
Collaborate with business and IT decision makers on user interface requirements and ideas

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices
5+ years of hands-on experience in front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
5+ years of experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including AngularJS and Bootstrap
5+ years of experience building REST web services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and microservices architecture
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, and Maven
Fluency in complex SQL; experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server preferred
Experience with Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DevOps, and automation
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and Visual Studio Code
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and cross-time-zone collaboration skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Ability to undergo a drug test if working in the United States after a conditional offer
