About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in all steps of the software development life cycle and produce quality code
Identify and recommend quality assurance practices using automation
Conduct impact analysis, regression testing, code testability, and application performance evaluation
Update automation scripts and design testing suites for TDD and BDD
Write and execute application tests at source-code level, including unit and component testing
Build, maintain, review, and integrate white-box test suites with CI tools
Develop software tools, frameworks, utilities, and automated end-to-end functional tests
Create testing frameworks for APIs, RESTful APIs, and web services
Install, customize, and deploy CI frameworks, test environments, and automation infrastructure
Perform scripting, data generation, performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing
Work with stakeholders, business, developers, and analysts to develop test plans, conditions, and cases
Report and track defects and resolutions, participate in root cause analysis
Act as a point of contact for assigned small client projects and coordinate test activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree - Software Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp - Professional experience with software testing, coding, designing, and developing
Experience with automated testing tools including Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, Cypress, Behave, Locust, or similar is required
A Python or JAVA background is required
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS Cloud is strongly preferred
Comfortable working in an Agile Scrum development environment
Demonstrated skill in adhering to coding best practices and being an active participant in code reviews
Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must
Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
