About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories
Work as part of a Scrum team on Launchpad, a merchant onboarding application
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for RESTful APIs
Define API integration points and map data flows between systems
Review and contribute to API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI
Create use cases, sequence diagrams, and data flow diagrams
Partner with QA teams to define API test cases and validate functionality using Postman or SoapUI
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and architects to align API solutions with business objectives
Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams
Estimate work effort, manage timelines, and deliver API initiatives within scope and budget
Operate within Agile frameworks including Scrum and SAFe
Identify process optimization and innovation opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in business systems analysis, specializing in UI requirements, API design/integration, and end-to-end system integration solutions
Strong understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
If working in the United States, required to undergo a drug test
Knowledge of Worldpay’s products and services is a bonus
Experience in the financial services industry is a bonus
