About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for test activities of assigned projects in the Agile development environment
Work with Product Owners and Developers to refine backlog items with well-thought-out acceptance criteria
Collaborate with the team to establish automation testing strategy for the product being tested
Participate in scrum ceremonies, pair programming, and peer reviews
Develop and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks using NUnit and C#
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver
Leverage SQL skills for REST API testing
Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Developers on product design and provide thought leadership on test approaches
Organize and maintain the test script library for assigned areas or applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or another related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in QA practices, including creating and maintaining test plans, creating test harnesses and scripts, executing scripts, and reporting
Experience in Agile development methodology in the .NET development environment required
Good understanding of OOP concepts
5+ years of knowledge of automation testing frameworks for APIs and UI
3+ years of C# and .NET knowledge, including LINQ, generics, and .NET 6
3+ years of T-SQL queries and ability to write complex queries
Postman knowledge for manual testing
Agile and Scrum knowledge, User Stories, and Test Case Management
Azure DevOps and Git experience
Understanding of APIs, services, deployments, .NET architecture concepts, and configuration files
Quick and sharp thinker, creative enough to react to the dynamic nature of Agile development
Added bonus: Azure Pipeline knowledge
Added bonus: ORM knowledge, such as Dapper and Entity Framework
SpecFlow automation is a plus
Load testing knowledge, such as JMeter, Neoload, or LoadRunner
Behavior-driven syntax for acceptance criteria
Payments industry domain knowledge/experience is a plus
