About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and oversee day-to-day talent acquisition initiatives company-wide
- Translate workforce needs into annual recruiting plans, long-term pipeline strategies, scalable programs, and success measures
- Lead day-to-day recruitment for key roles
- Partner with Global Prairie leaders on hiring and workforce needs
- Serve as lead recruiter for openings across all business functions
- Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance
- Support closing strategies as needed
- Oversee and guide the Manager, Talent Acquisition
- Establish operating rhythms connecting strategy, search execution, pipeline management, and stakeholder communication
- Shape and support the organization-wide talent acquisition strategy
- Identify current and future staffing needs, capability gaps, and hiring priorities
- Design, standardize, and improve recruiting processes, interview practices, candidate assessments, documentation, and governance
- Evaluate and optimize applicant tracking, sourcing, interviewing, analytics, and recruiting technologies
- Create annual recruiting plans, hiring forecasts, and long-term pipelines for critical talent segments
- Define talent acquisition metrics and lead dashboards and reporting on pipeline health, efficiency, quality, and candidate experience
- Use recruiting and market data to identify trends, diagnose barriers, and recommend actions to leadership
- Oversee partnerships with recruiters, vendors, universities, and external organizations
- Recruit contract and freelance talent for part-time and ad hoc needs
- Manage contractor, freelancer, Junior Associate, and other strategic talent programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience across day-to-day recruitment and broader talent strategy
- Demonstrated success developing and executing recruiting strategies aligned with business and workforce priorities
- Experience advising senior leaders and influencing complex hiring and workforce decisions
- Strong experience with workforce planning, talent forecasting, recruiting analytics, and process optimization
- Experience recruiting in marketing, communications, advertising, consulting, professional services, or agency environments is highly preferred
- Experience scaling recruiting functions
- Experience using BambooHR ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview, Handshake, or related technologies
- Clear interpersonal skills and ability to connect authentically with candidates
- Ability to manage multiple searches and candidates simultaneously
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong time management skills

- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to oversee talent acquisition team members
