About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote the University programme portfolio to prospective students via phone, email, and online meetings
  • Manage the student pipeline from initial enquiry and application through enrolment and payment of tuition fees
  • Proactively manage and respond to a high volume of prospective students through phone, SMS, video calls, emails and chats, often making 100+ dials per day
  • Continuously learn and master course offerings and programmes through structured training and independent research
  • Provide individually tailored consultations and advice, adapting communication style to diverse needs
  • Guide students through initial enquiry, application completion, offer conversion and enrolment
  • Explore students’ career aspirations and match them to relevant programmes
  • Advise international students on visa, immigration and compliance requirements where applicable
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, keeping applicants engaged and informed
  • Deliver customer service to students and stakeholders throughout the recruitment cycle
  • Represent the University professionally and positively
  • Maintain CRM systems accurately and keep student records up to date
  • Identify opportunities for new business and recruitment avenues
  • Support continuous improvement in recruitment processes and student conversion strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1+ years exposure to the higher education industry
  • 2+ years of professional, full-time sales experience in a closing sales role
  • 1+ years of experience working through complex sales cycles with multiple touch points and decision makers
  • 2+ years’ track record of meeting revenue targets and performance quotas
  • 2+ years of experience managing an accurate pipeline and reporting from a CRM
  • Ability to record productivity, report from and maintain sales CRM systems and spreadsheets, and collate data
  • Fast learner
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Near perfect verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving and positive attitude
  • Interest in higher education and the legal profession
  • Preferred: prior experience in an education or e-learning space
  • Preferred: related Marketing, Commerce or Tech Bachelors or Honours Degree
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a team leadership role
