About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct fundamental and quantitative research across commodities, fixed income, and options-based strategies
  • Monitor and synthesize market news, economic data, and investment research
  • Create and maintain research articles, market commentary, data visualizations, presentations, and educational content
  • Analyze ETF exposures, strategy mechanics, performance drivers, and risk/return tradeoffs
  • Maintain research datasets, analytical tools, and recurring reports; verify calculations and source data
  • Develop understanding of ETF structure, mechanics, liquidity, and competitive landscape
  • Support client and internal inquiries about fund methodologies, performance attribution, underlying exposures, and market developments
  • Collaborate with Product, Distribution, and Marketing on research for existing ETFs, competitive positioning, and potential new products
  • Prepare materials and contribute to client meetings, webinars, and presentations
  • Manage regular and ad hoc research assignments, communicate progress and issues, and meet deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment research, investment strategy, sales and trading, product research, or a related financial services role
  • Foundation in financial markets and investment analysis
  • Experience in one or more of commodities, fixed income, or options-based strategies preferred, with willingness to build knowledge across all three
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret financial and economic data, validate findings, and develop effective data visualizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg or other financial data platforms is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Collaborative approach, receptiveness to feedback, and commitment to expanding technical knowledge and subject-matter expertise
  • Progress toward, or intention to pursue, the CFA designation preferred but not required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to work three days a week in the NYC office and reside within a commutable distance of New York City
