About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Finance transformation projects through project planning, tracking, documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communications
Analyze Finance operations and business processes to identify process improvement opportunities
Document business requirements, scope definitions, process maps, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Support current-state and future-state process assessments and recommend improvements to efficiency, quality, controls, and user experience
Assist with financial systems enhancements, including requirements gathering, testing, validation, and user adoption
Support automation, reporting, analytics, and digital transformation efforts through data analysis and process documentation
Participate in system testing, issue tracking, and validation of configuration or process changes
Help develop dashboards, reports, and business insights for process performance monitoring and decision-making
Research emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and automation solutions for Finance processes
Collaborate with Finance, Internal Controls, IT, and Digital Transformation teams to align solutions with business requirements and governance standards
Perform activities safely and responsibly and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Program/Project Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field through an accredited degree program during the internship
Overall 3.0 GPA minimum and good academic standing
English written and verbal fluency
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship
Prior related internship or co-op experience preferred
Leadership experience preferred
Interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies preferred
Project management skills preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
Strong planning and organizational skills preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar tools preferred
Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, or use cases preferred
Understanding of Finance business processes such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A, or Internal Controls is a plus
