About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop design components for PDKs
Develop and maintain Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) components as part of Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies
Model and accurately represent semiconductor fabrication processes within PEX solutions
Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to support LVS development, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvements
Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to LVS PDK components
Work with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver LVS solutions meeting customer and business requirements
Develop and support automation solutions for LVS development, validation, quality assurance, and engineering productivity
Contribute to the development, validation, and enhancement of LVS methodologies, flows, and quality standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to program manage PDK deliverables for GlobalFoundries RF technologies
Perform activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Based Applicants Preferred
Fundamental knowledge in the semiconductor field
Verbal and written communication skills in English
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline
Experience in the semiconductor industry, EDA, or a related engineering field is considered an advantage
Experience in Physical Verification, LVS (Layout Versus Schematic)
The role may require obtaining a US Department of Defense Security Clearance during employment and applying for it if requested
