About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand key GlobalFoundries technology offerings
- Review customer product portfolios and engage with subject matter experts to analyze technology fit
- Review customer and competitor press releases, earnings calls, and financial statements
- Present competitive analysis
- Read market reports and perform market analysis
- Assist with daily business processes and long-range planning
- Support Account Managers with business initiatives and customer-facing analysis
- Participate in business reviews, sales meetings, strategy meetings, and supply meetings
- Perform activities safely and responsibly
- Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a junior at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field through an accredited degree program during the internship
- At least an overall 3.0 GPA and good academic standing
- English fluency, written and verbal
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship
- Prior related internship or co-op experience
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies
- Project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience in analog or digital design
- Interest in sales strategy and competitive analysis
- Ability to perform advanced analytics, problem solve, and conduct effective research
