About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with daily call volume, with service level taking priority
  • Provide accurate resolutions to customer inquiries professionally and courteously
  • Ensure customer needs are met through phone, email, written correspondence, and other interactions
  • Meet Quality Assurance requirements and other key performance metrics
  • Professionally handle and resolve escalated issues
  • Act as first-tier support for all customer inquiries on behalf of Globe Life Inc.
  • Effectively communicate and resolve each customer issue
  • Assist with department and company initiatives as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general Internet knowledge
  • Ability to learn new computer systems
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Team-oriented mindset with commitment to achieving team and organizational goals
  • Ability to listen, understand client needs, and exceed service and quality expectations
  • Professional, friendly attitude with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Detail-oriented with flexibility in schedule
  • Willingness to work shift work and overtime
  • Ability to sit 90% of the workday with heavy computer and phone usage
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of assigned shift
