About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a liaison between the service team, sales team, and broker partners to drive revenue growth and strengthen long-term partnerships
- Manage internal processes related to prospecting, quoting, proposal activities, and enrollment cycles
- Oversee the Globe Life Group Benefits licensing and appointments process
- Maintain workflows across internal teams, producers, Globe Life, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
- Keep pipeline reporting up to date with the Regional Sales Director and ensure opportunities are closed successfully
- Respond to product inquiries and follow up on pending proposals and group applications
- Fulfill requests for marketing material and sales literature
- Make outbound calls to prospective brokers to arrange meetings and expand territory engagement
- Participate in training with brokers, groups, and employees throughout the sales cycle
- Become a subject matter expert on Globe Life Group Benefits product offerings and co-marketed products
- Gather information and coordinate communication across departments to support successful renewals
- Collaborate with underwriting on proposals for plan changes and new product offerings
- Provide updated employee enrollment guides and related materials
- Serve as the central point of contact for formal RFP activities
- Analyze RFP requirements, coordinate specialized information, compile submissions, and meet deadlines
- Maintain an RFP response library and tracking systems for progress, deadlines, and completion status
- Coordinate producer licensing and appointment compliance, processing, service, and reporting
- Collaborate with TPAs, the Sales Team, and Vendor Partners to onboard producers
- Monitor the group mailbox and process appointment activities in Salesforce
- May travel less than 10% to assist with open enrollment meetings for certain premier accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of related experience in insurance, benefits administration, or client services
- Prior experience in group insurance processing appointments and working with producers strongly preferred
- Prior experience using a CRM tool required; Salesforce/Tableau strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of the supplemental health market and key aspects of selling new business, including case enrollment guides, marketing, proposals, and RFPs
- Understanding of Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and group benefits administration preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong task and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to support sales teams and broker needs
- Demonstrated ability to foster multi-disciplinary team collaboration
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
- Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications
