Part-Time Customer Retention Representative – PM Shift

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conserve business on behalf of the Company
- Help customers who call to cancel understand the importance of keeping their coverage
- Provide policy maintenance
- Answer questions regarding coverage, premium, and other policy information
- Compose business letters
- Work independently and make judgment decisions
- Make outbound calls to existing policyholders to collect delinquent premium payments
- Resell policy benefits and provide excellent customer service
- Record policyholder information for reporting and transactional purposes
- Maintain discretion and tact when providing customer service
- Maintain extensive telephone contact using appropriate telephone skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required
- Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm is required
- Experience in a call center environment is preferred
- Some insurance and/or sales experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve complex policyholder issues with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of life and/or health insurance terminology is preferred
- Reliable and predictable attendance of the assigned shift
- Ability to work full time and/or part time based on position specifications
