About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the organization's most strategic and complex client relationships within the Group Benefits division
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned key employer group clients for issue resolution, reporting requests, and renewal preparation
  • Build and maintain relationships with client contacts and broker partners
  • Communicate proactively about account status, policy updates, and renewal timelines
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external Third Party Administrator partners to facilitate client interactions and service delivery
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and TPAs on policy change requests and client renewal packages
  • Monitor account performance and identify account growth or administrative process improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and distribute client reports
  • Create stewardship presentations showing account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation in Salesforce
  • Escalate complex client issues requiring coordination across departments and partners
  • Identify recurring client issues and trends to support continuous service improvements
  • Provide training and guidance to Account Managers as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in insurance, benefits administration, or client services, including exposure to employee benefits or B2B account management
  • In-depth understanding of group insurance products and administrative concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data management and client documentation
  • Able to work independently while also mentoring and guiding junior team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
  • Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications
