About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day human resource operations
  • Coordinate with the HR Manager/Recruiter and hiring managers on staffing needs
  • Assist in the full employee recruiting process, including job posting, candidate identification, phone screening, team interviews, assessments, and issuing employment letters
  • Perform HRIS data entry and maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files, records, and documentation
  • Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support new-hire procedures, including employee orientation, new employee files, and required paperwork
  • Coordinate with the HR Manager on compensation program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation
  • Respond to reference checks and employment-status verifications
  • Assist the manager with HR projects
  • Liaise between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors
  • Gather timesheet data and follow up on corrections in the Time Tracking System
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • One year of HR experience
  • Able to work legally in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective organization and time management skills
