About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape the aesthetic direction for major projects and establish visual language, mood, and point of view
  • Translate briefs into distinctive visual worlds across campaigns and brand touchpoints
  • Develop visual expressions across 2D, 3D, experiential, digital, and physical spaces
  • Sketch, create collages and mood boards, and use AI imagery to explore ideas
  • Develop polished presentation materials and visual systems
  • Art direct photoshoots and video production from pre-production through final delivery
  • Make decisions regarding composition, lighting, styling, casting, location, and production
  • Partner with Creative Directors, Design Directors, and strategists to define and develop creative visions
  • Create visual systems including palettes, compositions, imagery, and aesthetic principles
  • Lead, inspire, motivate, and challenge creative teams
  • Provide clear, direct, real-time feedback and mentor emerging talent
  • Present creative ideas to clients and explain the rationale behind visual choices
  • Explore emerging tools and technologies to make creative work more ambitious

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Portfolio or work samples are required to be considered
  • Professional art direction experience in an agency, production, or integrated creative environment
  • Expert-level sketching and rapid visualization skills
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Curiosity about emerging tools and technologies and ability to use them to make work more ambitious
  • Portfolio demonstrating aesthetic authority, diverse project experience, exceptional craft, and work produced at scale
  • Ability to move between 2D, 3D, experiential, digital, and physical spaces
  • Experience art directing photoshoots and video production from pre-production through final delivery
  • Ability to sketch, create collages and mood boards, and use AI imagery
  • Ability to develop polished presentation materials and visual systems
  • Ability to establish visual language, mood, and point of view across campaigns and brand touchpoints
  • Ability to provide clear, direct, real-time feedback and mentor emerging talent
  • Ability to present creative ideas clearly and convincingly to clients
