About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections
  • Assess patients and recognize more serious conditions requiring emergency-room referral
  • Direct patients to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary
  • Provide clinical services to adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform minor procedures including sutures, casts and splints
  • Read EKGs and X-rays
  • Deliver a high-quality patient experience
  • Work with mentoring and support in state-of-the-art urgent care centers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 year of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
  • Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages)
  • Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
  • Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
  • Nurse Practitioner qualification
  • Ability to work per diem/PRN
  • Availability for two shifts a month, including one weekend shift
  • Ability to work during center hours ranging from Monday–Sunday, 8:00am–8:00pm
