About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical services for acute episodic conditions, including sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections
  • Assess patients and recognize serious conditions requiring emergency-room referral
  • Treat both adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform minor procedures such as sutures and splints
  • Read EKGs and X-rays
  • Deliver a high-quality patient experience
  • Work in Springwoods Village, Louetta, Tomball, and potentially as a float provider in South Region centers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 or more years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
  • Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations
  • Comfortable with minor procedures, including sutures and splints
  • Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
  • Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
  • National Certifications
  • Active state medical licensure
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
  • Strong listening skills preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills preferred
