About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide per diem physician care in GoHealth Urgent Care centers in the Staten Island Region
- Treat adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and older
- Perform minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
- Read EKGs and X-rays
- Float to all centers in the Staten Island Region
- Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants
- Provide patient care within a state-of-the-art urgent care network partnered with Northwell Health
Requirements
What you’ll need- M.D. or D.O.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Med-Peds, or Emergency Medicine
- 1–2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
- Comfortable with minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints
- Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
- Required to float to all centers in the Staten Island Region
