About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Deliver urgent and primary care across Ballston, South Alex, and Pickett locations in Northern Virginia
- Coordinate care with specialists, primary care, and other services through an integrated care model
- Serve unique populations including underserved communities, LGBTQ+ patients, HIV/AIDS patients, and concierge medicine patients
- Work three 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
- Work 10:00 AM–10:00 PM shifts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certification
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
- BLS & ACLS Certification
- Licensed FNP or PA in Virginia
- DEA License
- Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol
- Successful completion of payer credentialing (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges
- Ability to work 3 twelve-hour shifts and every other weekend
- Availability for 10:00 AM–10:00 PM shifts
- Full-time availability; no PRN openings
