About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide per diem physician care in GoHealth Urgent Care centers partnered with Northwell Health
  • Float to all centers in the Queens Region
  • Treat adult and pediatric patients, including children aged 6 months and older
  • Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints
  • Read EKGs and X-rays
  • Work with Radiology Technicians and Medical Assistants who support vitals, medication reviews, point-of-care testing, and documentation
  • Deliver patient care using state-of-the-art centers, imaging, labs, and the ECW EMR

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Med-Peds, or Emergency Medicine
  • 1–2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting
  • Experience treating patients of all ages, including 6 months and older
  • Comfortable performing minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
  • Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
