About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide urgent care services for adult and pediatric patients
- Treat patients aged 6 months and older
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints
- Read EKGs and X-rays
- Float among urgent care centers in Danbury, Fairfield, Brookfield, Stamford, and Norwalk
- Collaborate with Rad Techs and Medical Assistants
- Provide care within GoHealth Urgent Care’s Northwell Health partnership network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Nurse Practitioner with 2 or more years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
- Experience treating all ages, from 6 months and older
- Comfortable with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints
- Comfortable reading EKGs and X-rays
- Willingness to float to Danbury, Fairfield, Brookfield, Stamford, and Norwalk for scheduled shifts
