About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal laws/regulations, internal requirements, BSA/AML, CIP/OFAC, and related compliance obligations
  • Manage high-volume loan-related calls, emails, internal messages, and multiple applications in parallel
  • Triage time-sensitive funding items and meet service-level, turnaround-time, quality, productivity, and timeliness requirements
  • Identify root causes, recommend solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement through job aids, knowledge sharing, and workflow enhancements
  • Provide high-quality service to dealers, members, and internal partners; support escalations and document outcomes
  • Review and analyze application data and supporting documentation; perform research, validations, and system updates
  • Obtain, validate, and track DMV documentation for lien perfection and collateral recording
  • Partner with branches, Member Service, Vehicle Services, and back-office teams to resolve exceptions and clear conditions
  • Audit executed loan documents and operational reports for signatures, dates, disclosures, indexing, filing, and procedural compliance
  • Prepare and quality-check loan documents, monitor executed documents, and coordinate approved loans for disbursement
  • Respond to dealership and Dealer Relationship Manager inquiries and complete assigned audits
  • Conduct member interviews, perform financial calculations and proof-of-income analysis, and confirm funding readiness
  • Manage shared Outlook email and Teams chat queues, prioritize requests, and coordinate handoffs
  • Participate in video conferences, trainings, and team meetings; communicate status, risks, and handoffs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent required
  • 1+ years experience in a fast-paced lending environment or customer service centric work environment with high volume, handling complex situations with direct consumer contact required
  • Consumer loan processing experience is a plus preferred
  • Working knowledge of applicable state and federal laws/regulations and internal requirements, including BSA/AML, CIP/OFAC, and related compliance obligations
  • Strong attention to audit readiness and record retention standards
  • Ability to perform financial calculations and proof-of-income analysis
  • Ability to identify red flags and mitigate potential fraud, suspicious activity, and identity theft
  • Ability to participate effectively in video conferencing, trainings, and team meetings in a virtual and/or hybrid work environment
