About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide daily oversight of clinical quality for the Supervising Clinicians/BCBA team
- Lead, direct, supervise, and implement clinical initiatives and programs
- Mentor and manage Supervising Clinicians
- Lead the team in delivering high-quality ABA therapy through programming, client education, and hour recommendations
- Conduct weekly one-on-ones to review performance metrics and client files
- Conduct quarterly fidelity assessments
- Provide clinical oversight of client caseloads to support compliance, retention, and outcomes
- Review initial and six-month assessments for clinical accuracy
- Conduct monthly case reviews of team members' clients
- Ensure client and parent engagement and satisfaction
- Review proposed discharges and graduations
- Champion clinical initiatives with Supervising Clinicians and Behavior Technicians
- Ensure Quality Assurance initiatives are understood and implemented
- Train and lead the team to achieve high-quality ABA therapy and outcomes
- Attend corporate meetings, scheduled training, and CEU training
- Conduct monthly group BCBA sessions
- Promote Golden Steps' growth and assist with business opportunities
- Build relationships with referral sources and comply with payor requirements
- Communicate with candidates and conduct clinical interviews to support team growth
- Oversee supervision of assigned caseloads according to leadership guidelines
- Ensure at least 10% supervision, preferably 20%, and at least one parent-training hour per month
- Complete and submit initial assessments and reassessments within authorization timelines
- Orient and train team members
- Communicate expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise team performance
- Coach and develop a high-performing team delivering best-practice results and continuous improvements
- Conduct supervision overlaps with all BCBAs
- Promote organizational standards and expected behaviors across the team
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- BCBA Masters Level degree
- Current BCBA certificate through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- 2+ years as a BCBA
- Experience with multimodal communication systems, including AAC devices, modified signs, and picture exchange systems
- Familiarity with VBMAPP, ABLLS, Essentials for Living, PEAK, Socially Savvy, and Skill-Based Treatment
- Previous experience managing others and leading a team
- ABA clinical knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated analytical skills for synthesizing clinical and social data and determining treatment plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and clients
- Expertise in tracking clinical outcomes, progress, and compliance
- Ability to transition between strategic and hands-on responsibilities
- Customer service experience and understanding
- Collaborative working ability and capacity to build trust and credibility
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve business goals
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Superior time management, observation, and data analytics skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to bend and squat for up to one hour per day

- Availability Monday through Friday during varying office hours, with additional time or flexible schedules as needed
