About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop meaningful, evidence-based hierarchical programming based on data, progress, and ongoing client assessment
- Provide direct and indirect training and supervision to RBTs on the patient caseload
- Provide direct and indirect family guidance necessary for programming success
- Communicate consistently with all treatment team members
- Participate in collaborative efforts with service providers outside Golden Steps
- Review data promptly and communicate with team members as needed
- Maintain professional boundaries according to BACB standards
- Conduct comprehensive initial intakes and recurring assessments
- Handle discharge and transition planning for children on the caseload
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or sitting for the BCBA exam within one month
- LBA, if applicable
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Excellent writing and verbal communication
- Reliable car and driver's license for commuting to clients' homes
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges using ABA
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to bend and squat for up to an hour per day
- Ability to perform activities requiring fine and gross motor skills, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting at floor level or in a chair, and standing for periods of time
