About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism
- Follow treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions
- Use individualized treatment strategies and behavior support plans
- Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time
- Share observations and questions with the supervising BCBA
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings
- Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification [if applicable to this opening]
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities is helpful, but not required
- Ability to meet applicable background check requirements
- [Driver’s license and reliable transportation, if travel to client homes is required]
- Experience in childcare, education, special education, or a related field can be a strong foundation for this role
