Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices, APIs, and micro-frontends integrating with Stripe and other payment gateways
Build secure, reliable, compliant payment solutions focused on scalability and performance
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through testing and deployment
Mentor and guide junior engineers while promoting software development and payments security best practices

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues promptly to maintain high system availability
Take ownership of key initiatives within GoodLeap's payments platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of full-stack software development experience using NodeJS, TypeScript, NestJS, React, HTML, and CSS
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Experience working with Stripe's API and other payment processing platforms
Ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient systems
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and software engineering best practices
Experience in FinTech or highly regulated industries is a bonus
Previous work with real-time payment processing systems is a bonus
