About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee goop Beauty’s wholesale business across domestic and international accounts, including key wholesale partnerships
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key wholesale accounts
  • Manage communications to ensure continuity in service and account oversight across the team
  • Drive wholesale sales through direct selling to small and boutique accounts
  • Build retailer plans including launch, marketing, education, promotional, and sell-through plans
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, digital, product development, and retail teams
  • Analyze sales reports, forecasts, and performance data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with Merch Planning and FP&A teams on inventory and financial planning
  • Handle administrative tasks, back-office duties, and order management
  • Navigate complex account structures and drive long-term growth with major retailers and international partners
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members
  • Serve as the primary manager for specialist support
  • Supervise field sales representatives and brand ambassadors
  • Report to the Vice President of Wholesale & Wholesale Marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in wholesale sales or account management within the beauty, wellness, or consumer goods industries
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience
  • Experience working with large domestic retailers and international accounts
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key retail partnerships, meeting sales targets, and exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales forecasting, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, sales reporting, and analytics platforms
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
