About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a subject matter expert and face of the Nutrition Resource Centre for Non-Commercial customers and GFS employees on institutional food service
Act as liaison and champion of customer needs within GFS by developing and utilizing customer-support tools
Provide customer consultations and connect customers with food service and technology solutions
Develop and enhance Nutrition Resource Centre tools and services
Serve as point of contact for regional sales scenarios, including pitches, bids, and food shows
Enable sales through promotion and training on Nutrition Resource Centre tools and activities
Share and disseminate knowledge across GFS business units and divisions
Lead NetMenu demos for cycle menu customers
Deliver individualized NetMenu training and support
Develop regional cycle menus and provide menu support to key customers
Prepare and deliver presentations on non-commercial food service topics, including external speaking opportunities
Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments through networking and education events
Support customer inquiries through the NRC hotline and email
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bilingualism in English and French is required (written and spoken)
Bachelor Degree: Dietetics or a related field
Registered Dietitian certification or license
Experience with recipe and menu management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong sense of customer service
Good attention to detail
Must have ability to prepare and deliver presentations
Resourceful in finding creative solutions to food service problems
Ability to work independently while also part of a broader team
Ability to travel 4 days a week to Ajax, Milton or Amherst
Food handlers certificate an asset
