About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the definition and implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies
- Analyze current IT and cybersecurity trends
- Develop technology strategies, policies, standards, and roadmaps for technology solutions and planning efforts
- Provide leadership on product evaluation and implementation
- Support cybersecurity risk reduction efforts across the organization
- Define the enterprise information security architectural vision and strategic roadmaps with architects, engineers, and IT/Security specialists
- Ensure adherence to the cybersecurity architectural vision and standards
- Provide leadership and oversight to planning and implementation of strategic IT information security solutions
- Partner with architecture and technology leaders to define complex, cross-domain solutions
- Research technologies that protect company information and technology assets
- Lead technology vendor evaluations
- Collaborate with IT project teams to determine security requirements and design, including NIST, SOX, PCI, IAM, API, Zero Trust, IoT, and Cloud
- Fulfill the role of Lead Engineer on key EIS/Security projects
- Mentor and provide leadership to cybersecurity architects, engineers, and analysts
- Participate on the PCI Team in collaboration with Stores
- Assist with development and maintenance of IT policies and Security Employee Awareness programs
- Coordinate with Security Team Managers to develop and maintain enterprise security roadmaps of products and projects
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field required
- Five or more years’ experience in security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions, including continuous monitoring and improvements, working with a cybersecurity team
- Experience consulting and engineering in the development and design of security best practices and implementation of solid security principles across the organization
- Knowledge of security considerations of cloud computing, including data breaches, broken authentication, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, APTs, data loss and DoS attacks
- Knowledge of cloud concepts including governance, computing, networking, workload configuration, data protection, compliance, and Identity and Access Management
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM)
- Prior work experience with Java/J2EE, API/web services, scripting languages, and a relational database management system such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or BigQuery
- Knowledge of relevant NIST standards
- Knowledge of ISO27001
- Knowledge of COBIT
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment
- Good customer service and time management skills
- Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems and reference established precedents and policies
- Candidates who work for a Gordon Food Service customer must provide a letter of support from their management if selected for the interview process
- Must complete a pre-employment drug test

Comp & perks- Hybrid schedule, 4 days in office in Wyoming, MI or Atlanta, GA with 1 day remote
