About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IAM solutions
  • Support identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access requests
  • Participate in deployment and management of privileged account management solutions
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to deploy IAM solutions in cloud environments
  • Learn and utilize IaC principles and CI/CD tools to automate IAM infrastructure deployment and configuration
  • Contribute to IAM policies, standards, and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on access controls and authentication methods
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune IAM system performance
  • Integrate IAM solutions into CI/CD pipelines
  • Configure and integrate third-party commercial and open-source IAM solutions
  • Stay current with IAM trends, emerging technologies, and zero trust principles
  • Perform business-day on-call functions and resolve routine issues independently
  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot identity management solutions
  • Compile and refine standard operating procedure documentation
  • Create and maintain identity role and entitlement definitions
  • Represent the IAM team in routine discussions with business and IT stakeholders
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of identity and access management principles and concepts
  • Familiarity with privileged account management and access controls for privileged users
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with cloud platforms
  • Interest in infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and willingness to learn CI/CD tools
  • Exposure to code repository version control systems
  • Eagerness to learn and work with IAM platforms
  • Familiarity with zero trust principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment
  • Good customer service and time management skills
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and reference established precedents and policies
  • Basic proficiency with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Groovy
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Must participate in on-call rotation, including non-business hours
  • Customer employees must provide a letter of support from management if selected for the interview process
