About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help with document management, saving to files, and organization
- Assist with preparation for trial, arbitration, and mediation
- Prepare deposition and hearing notebooks
- Assist with discovery and index discovery documents
- Deliver documents and binders to local courts
- Provide backup coverage for the front desk
- Work with paralegals to prepare case management and tracking charts
- Assist in medical records reviews and draft medical summaries
- Bates stamp documents
- Draft and issue ORCP 69 letters
- Calendar matters and deadlines
- Download documents from court dockets
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in a law firm
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Computer skills, particularly experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, iManage, PowerPoint, Kofax, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Milana, and discovery databases such as Relativity and DISCO
- Ability to work independently
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a team-structured setting
- 1–2 years of Legal or Administrative File Clerk/Assistant experience
- Cover letter and resume required for consideration
