Defend civil litigation matters across practice areas including Employment, Complex Commercial, Construction, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith, Environmental, Toxic Tort, Product Liability, and General Liability
Handle forward-facing client interactions
Handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
Conduct legal research
Prepare and present persuasive written and oral arguments
Handle assignments with minimal supervision
Work collaboratively in a collegial environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least two years’ experience (all experience levels welcome to apply)
Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Missouri
Admission to practice in the State of Illinois preferred
Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
Strong academic background
Proven research skills
Self-starter able to handle assignments with minimal supervision
Trial experience preferred but not required
Cover letter, resume, and writing sample required for consideration
