About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Agriculture & Food Law practice group
- Handle complex litigation matters nationwide
- Work on agricultural chemical, crop protection, food law, product liability, toxic tort, commercial, and related litigation matters
- Work closely with clients, experts, and litigation teams across multiple jurisdictions
- Participate in all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and client counseling
- Support nationwide litigation matters, including occasional travel
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials
- Collaborate in a professional development and mentorship environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least three years of experience in civil litigation
- Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee
- Admission in one or more additional states highly desirable
- Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Demonstrated research abilities
- Self-starter capable of handling assignments with minimal supervision
- Driven team player
- Trial experience preferred but not required
- Cover letter, resume, and writing sample required for consideration
