About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Defend insureds in general liability litigation
- Handle litigation involving professional liability, product liability, construction, toxic tort, and other general liability matters
- Conduct research and prepare written work
- Handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Interact directly with clients
- Manage assignments with minimal supervision
- Work collaboratively within the firm's national and local practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 6 years of experience defending a variety of insured litigation
- Experience including professional liability, product liability, construction, toxic tort, and/or other general liability litigation
- Licensed and admitted to practice in New Hampshire
- Strong litigation, communication, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Strong academic background
- Proven research skills
- Ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision
- Commitment to superior client service and professionalism
- Driven team player and self-starter
- Trial experience preferred but not required
- Admission in Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, or Massachusetts helpful but not required
- Submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample
