About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage in complex litigation in state and federal court
- Engage in arbitration
- Handle litigation on behalf of health insurers, including defending payor-provider litigation
- Handle ERISA litigation when applicable
- Conduct litigation research and writing
- Make persuasive presentations and handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Work with clients and colleagues in a collaborative environment
- Handle assignments with minimal supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience
- Experience handling complex litigation in state and federal court and arbitration
- Experience handling litigation on behalf of health insurers, including defending payor-provider litigation, highly preferred
- Experience with ERISA litigation is a plus
- Team player
- Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
- Strong academic background
- Proven research skills
- Self-starter able to handle assignments with minimal supervision
- Trial experience preferred but not required
- Must be licensed and admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
