About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage large multi-case dockets

- Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery
- Perform e-filing in state and federal court
- Handle case management, docketing, document review and exhibit preparation
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s Degree required
- Paralegal Certification a plus
- Extensive experience with the management of large multi-case dockets
- Experience managing multiple case deadlines and deposition coordination
- Experience drafting pleadings and discovery
- Familiarity with the NY State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures
- Experience filing/serving out of State and in the Court of Appeals preferred, but not required
- Experience with pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery
- Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Previous Compulaw and iManage/Document experience beneficial
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Insurance Defense cases a plus, but not required
- Must be a self-starter and team player
