About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business needs and processes and recommend IMT solutions supporting program and service delivery
- Coordinate enhancements, upgrades and implementation of business applications, hardware and software
- Support modernization and digitization initiatives
- Lead and support user acceptance testing, including test-plan development, test coordination and issue resolution
- Train, coach and support staff in technology use
- Create documentation and troubleshoot technology issues
- Coordinate hardware and software inventory and deployment
- Develop regular and ad hoc reports
- Analyze and interpret data, investigate data quality issues and recommend improvements
- Develop and maintain data pipelines
- Support data integration, reporting and business intelligence requirements
- Support implementation of artificial intelligence tools by assessing requirements, workflow impacts, data needs and risks
- Ensure alignment with privacy, security and information-management requirements
- Support system access and monitor IMT security, privacy and compliance issues
- Build relationships with OCME staff, senior management, IMT resources, contractors and stakeholders
- Represent OCME business needs in departmental and cross-departmental initiatives
- Contribute to IMT and operational planning
- Report to the Director of Operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- University graduation in a related field, such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline
- Four years of progressively responsible related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting or delivering IMT projects and services
- Experience analyzing business requirements, processes and technology needs and developing practical solutions
- Experience working with data, reporting and business intelligence solutions
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data pipelines and data integration
- Experience analyzing information and preparing clear reports, recommendations and presentations for management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Final candidates must undergo a criminal records check (CRC)

- Assets include Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Copilot or Gemini, modernization and digitization initiatives, and healthcare or another complex operational environment
