About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support quotations for domestic and international import and export freight across air, ocean, and road transport modes
  • Assist with quotations for international insurance and domestic and international road transportation
  • Support the analysis, pricing, and negotiation of freight rates with freight forwarders, airlines, ocean carriers, terminals, insurance brokers, and transportation companies
  • Serve as a point of contact supporting communication between requesters and suppliers
  • Assist with obtaining, analyzing, and negotiating quotations in accordance with the responsible analyst’s guidance
  • Handle less complex quotations under guidance and supervision
  • Provide support in communications with customers and suppliers
  • Update systems and sales analysis spreadsheets, contributing to report generation and commercial management
  • Support sales analysts with the department’s administrative activities
  • Register customers and suppliers
  • Update rate sheets and support contract renewals
  • Organize files and records on the network, keeping information updated in the system
  • Conduct after-sales follow-ups by email and telephone
  • Perform activities in accordance with the safety, compliance, and reliability procedures required by the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • English proficiency with conversational and written skills
  • Completed or ongoing higher education, preferably in Business Administration, International Relations, Logistics, or International Trade
  • Knowledge of basic international trade concepts
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work well in a team
  • Experience in customer service or customer relationship management is a plus
  • University degree
