Key responsibilities & impact

Perform accounting for various transactions of the business and ensure they are properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the financial statements
Analyze financial data and use independent judgment to identify variances, resolve accounting operating system issues when possible, compile statistical information, and develop procedures to improve current processes
Research a wide variety of financial topics to provide information or recommendations that impact the organization's operations
Prepare general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Conform and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures set forth by upper management
Interface frequently with various levels within the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance Preferred
General Ledger Accounting and reconciliation experience in a corporate environment
Thorough understanding of GAAP
Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines
Experience completing detailed accounting schedules
Ability to read and understand P&L statements
Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
