Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, research, write, and maintain documentation and learning content, including concepts, tasks, tutorials, references, and in-product learning
Use AI tools and workflows for drafting, structuring, technical validation, consistency checks, and content maintenance
Contribute to and improve shared AI workflows and automate content creation and maintenance
Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and interview subject matter experts
Turn complex technical details into clear, accurate content
Test documented software and procedures, identifying product and UX gaps
Use documentation and learning analytics and user feedback to identify content gaps, prioritize work, and demonstrate impact
Improve information architecture, voice, and consistency across documentation
Manage multiple projects and communicate clearly when priorities change
Mentor teammates and share practices that improve team quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience writing or documenting enterprise or developer-facing software, with a portfolio or writing samples showing technical depth
Hands-on experience using AI tools and models in a writing workflow, including LLM assistants, agentic coding tools, or custom prompts and skills
Ability to explain how AI output is evaluated and verified
Experience with docs-as-code: command-line Git, GitHub pull requests and reviews, Markdown, and common IDEs
Ability to set up, run, and troubleshoot software independently
Experience with command line, containers, or Kubernetes, or willingness to learn quickly
Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers
Experience working remotely and asynchronously on a distributed team
Curiosity about AI workflows
Technical credibility and ability to learn new technical domains quickly
Strong judgment and editing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively
Ability to write concisely and plainly for readers of all experience levels
