About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate End of Episode Summaries to physicians in a timely manner
- Review Patient Consent/Election of Benefit documentation for compliance and process it timely
- Process medical record documentation within Worldview
- Attach and scan medical records into patient charts
- Ensure patient documentation meets compliance and billing requirements
- Compile and process medical record release requests
- Respond to LIVANTA and other discharge-related audits on the same business day
- Use eSignature platforms to obtain signatures on required documents, including consents and DNRs
- Escalate missing items to operations and clinical staff
- Work in a clerical office setting using computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
- Travel by automobile as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School education or GED equivalent
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Detail- and process-oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must maintain automobile insurance coverage
- Must have access to a reliable automobile
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
