About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide solutions and connect with walk-in customers
- Serve as a subject matter expert for branch team members
- Maximize sales opportunities and lead by example with showroom sales promotions and product specials
- Oversee the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry and maintenance, safely picking product, and safely loading customer vehicles
- Navigate several computer applications for customer-facing and warehouse activities
- Perform branch sales activities to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty
- Shift focus to perform a variety of warehouse tasks
- Complete and take responsibility for branch processes important to branch operations and effectiveness
- Report to the Branch Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in related field
- Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance
- Adapt communication and style to differing audiences, including in writing/email, over phone, or in person
- Operate powered industrial equipment
