About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service multiple customer locations
- Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations
- Ensure product stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted
- Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty
- Follow designated routes defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time
- Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where service is provided
- Create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs
- Probe for customer needs during each site visit
- Work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings
- Manage customer inventory through the KeepStock program
- Implement sales strategy with partners and help customers understand Grainger's MRO solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years' experience in a selling or service environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle different technical and operational issues
- Valid driver's license in State of residence, maintained throughout employment
- Must carry required levels of automobile insurance
- Must comply with facility safety and inspection requirements
