About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive a mobile shoe store box truck to industrial customer job sites on pre-scheduled appointments
- Service company safety shoe benefit programs
- Provide exceptional customer service to company employees without cold calling
- Assist customers with selecting and properly fitting footwear
- Maintain truck stock and inventory levels
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges on the Shoemobile
- Comply with Department of Transportation regulations while operating the Shoemobile safely
- Maintain an accurate DOT logbook
- Partner with Branch/DC for restocking and replenishment
- Partner with the truck leasing provider for remote parking, fueling, and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and Shoemobile showroom
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical abilities to navigate and update systems and tools
- Customer visits may require overnight travel Monday-Friday, averaging 2 to 3 overnights a week
- Comfort standing for several hours, including frequent bending or reaching
- Willingness to travel within an approximately 150 mile radius and occasionally farther
- Steel Toe shoes are required to be worn at all times
- Must pass a physical and maintain a current medical card to drive Shoemobile
- Clean driving record
- CDL is not required but is a plus
