About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive a mobile shoe store, a 45' tractor-trailer, to industrial customer job sites on pre-scheduled appointments
  • Service company safety shoe benefit programs
  • Provide exceptional sales and customer service to company employees
  • Assist customers with selecting and properly fitting footwear
  • Maintain truck stock and inventory levels
  • Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges on the Shoemobile
  • Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and operate the Shoemobile safely
  • Accurately maintain a DOT logbook
  • Partner with Branch/DC for restocking and replenishment
  • Partner with truck leasing for remote parking, fueling, and Shoemobile maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and Shoemobile showroom
  • Grow sales and manage costs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Class A CDL license required
  • Technical abilities to navigate and update systems and tools
  • Customer visits may require overnight travel Monday-Friday, averaging 2 to 3 overnights a week
  • Comfort standing for several hours, including frequent bending or reaching
  • Main territory is approximately 150 mile radius, with occasional further travel required
  • Steel Toe shoes are required to be worn at all times
  • Must pass physical and maintain a current medical card to drive Shoemobile
  • Clean driving record
